Sellers Timeline 5: The Power of Staging

Join me over this sellers series as I walk you through the 14 steps of the sellers’ timeline.

Step 5: The Power of Staging Your Home

Staging accentuates a home’s best features and downplays its flaws, ensuring it shows well and makes a good first impression on prospective buyers. … Staging is a very important part of the process of selling your home. We have many top agents who are equipped with the knowledge and resources to stage your home properly.

Bottom line… Staging is Effective!

Compared to non-staged houses, on average, staged homes:

  • Had three more showings scheduled
  • Spent 11 fewer days on the market
  • Sold for a 1% higher list price

What Rooms Sellers Stage?

  • 10% – staged the kitchen
  • 15% – staged the master bedroom
  • 25% – staged the living room
  • 50% – staged the whole house

Be the house that catches the eye and make a good first impression! You don’t have to spend a lot of money for your property to appeal to Buyers as they pull up to the curb. Cleaning up flower beds, keeping the grass and bushes trimmed, a fresh coat of paint and simply painting the front door can make the difference between a potential buyer driving away or making a sale – cha ching! Remember, Buyers are typically standing at the front door waiting while the agent is looking for the lockbox, the first impression counts! With a critical eye, observe the front of your home before we put it on the market. If you think it – the Buyers will think it!
