It was 2008 and the world was what I like to say, on fire … chaos was happening all around us and I had no idea what path I was going to choose. My mentor at the time, because lord knows I needed some guidance, asked me what one thing I loved.? My one thing that I truly believed in – we are put into peoples’ lives for a reason.⠀
Now, how do I make that into a living? I knew I loved being in homes….. I knew I loved what the home signified….. and again, I knew I loved being around people. I know – I’ll become a real estate agent!
This was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. It was a journey I never imagined. A journey that proved to be the most difficult and rewarding at the same time. A journey that would bring me many laughs, tears, moments of struggle, and above all, moments of pure delight.
The goal at the time was to try and stay afloat. Make this a business I was happy to put my name to. What I really ended up finding along the way, was myself. If you are looking to find the person inside, start a small business. Every positive and negative trait will come to life during this journey.

I try to find gratitude in every person I meet. Sometimes it is to learn a lesson. Sometimes it is to make me see that I am worthy. Sometimes it is to kick me in the ass!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I know I can’t please everyone – a very hard lesson for me to swallow. But at the end of the day – my goal is to be a positive light.
